Cargo-size parcels of crude, bought from producers and delivered to refiners. Financed and documented by DMJ.
What we trade
Light sweet and medium sour crude grades, bought from producers and sold to refiners in parcels sized to the buyer's programme.
How we deliver
FOB at the load port or CIF and DAP at the refinery's terminal. Parcels from part cargoes to full Aframax and Suezmax lots.
Financing
Prepayment to the producer, letters of credit through partner banks, or DMJ's own balance sheet between loading and payment.
Standards we contract to.
- Grades
- Light sweet and medium sour crude. Light sweet: higher API gravity, sulphur below 0.5%. Medium sour: sulphur above 0.5%.
- Quality
- Assay per cargo. Quantity and quality certified by an independent inspector at load and discharge.
- Parcels
- Part cargoes to full Aframax and Suezmax lots.
- Terms
- FOB, CIF or DAP, Incoterms 2020.
- Pricing
- Against the crude benchmarks named in the contract, over the quotational period agreed.
